Simone Says Book Series

25 books. 1 magical journey through identity, voice, and self-love.

The Simone Says Book Series is a beautifully layered 25-book collection that follows a young Black girl named Simone as she learns to love herself, ask big questions, and grow into her power—one magical moment at a time.

Broken into five parts, each collection reflects a different phase of Simone’s emotional, cultural, and imaginative development. Through hair rituals, ancestral wisdom, affirmations, and adventures rooted in Black girlhood, Simone becomes more than a character—she becomes a mirror, a guide, and a friend.

Series Structure:

Each phase includes 5 books tied to a central theme and Simone’s age range.

Part 1: Be Curious (ages 6-7)

Simone begins to ask big questions about who she is and how the world works. Magical hair rituals and her mirror-journal unlock playful discovery and emotional growth.

Part 2: Speak Up (ages 8-9)

Simone starts to express herself boldly at school, at home, and in her community. She learns to use her voice with courage, empathy, and truth.

Part 3: Dream Big (ages 10-11)

As her world expands, so do her dreams. Simone learns how to navigate doubt, ambition, and her growing sense of purpose—with her hair wash days revealing deeper visions.

Part 4: Ask Why (ages 12-13)

Simone enters a time of reflection, critical thinking, and deeper self-questioning. Guided by ancestral spirits, she explores truth, history, and inner strength.

Part 5: Shine Anyway (ages 14-15)

Now a mentor and leader in her own right, Simone embraces her full voice, purpose, and peace—while helping others rise with her.
