Simone Says is currently in development as an animated series for children ages 6–11. Each 10–12 minute episode begins with a question — and ends with a powerful reflection through magical hair rituals, ancestral wisdom, and emotional learning.

Simone’s journey blends Afro-magical storytelling with real-life identity-building moments. With every braid, wash day, or journal entry, she discovers new pieces of herself — and so will the children watching.

This series centers Black girlhood with care and joy, while creating space for all kids to grow in curiosity, confidence, and cultural understanding.
