To provide warmth and dignity to families in need, reminding mothers that they are not forgotten — and that their care matters too.
 

 While gifts are often focused on entertainment, Coats and Candles focuses on essentials. 

For many families, winter months mean tough choices: groceries or gas, bills or boots.

 A warm coat is not just a seasonal gift — it’s protection, dignity, and relief.

Unlike toys, which may be outgrown quickly or feel temporary, a coat:

• Provides immediate, daily impact
   
• Helps children arrive at school with confidence
   
• Gives mothers peace of mind knowing their babies are safe from the cold
   

By giving coats, we’re not only wrapping children in warmth — we’re wrapping families in care.

Mothers can apply online or be nominated by community members
 

Each accepted family receives:

1 brand new coat per child (ages 0–14)

1 curated candle for the mother, wrapped with intention
 

Items are distributed with love and care at an in-person event
