By booking an appointment at Crowned by Nature you agree that you have read and understand to the policies outlined on, but not limited to, this page. There may be additional procedures posted in the hair salon as well. If at any time you do not understand a policy please contact the salon as soon as possible. 

DEPOSITS will be required for all appointments beginning September1, 2022.

A $20 deposit is due at the time of booking for all appointments. 

• Deposits will be refunded/transferred if appointment is rescheduled within 3 full days notice. *Only one reschedule per deposit allowed
• Deposits are deducted from your total at check out, only Remaining balance will be due.
• Deposits are non-refundable or transferrable for no call/show appointments.
• Regular clients may avoid paying a deposit by booking appointments in advance with the stylist.

If for any reason you can not keep your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we can reschedule. At that moment we will transfer the booking deposit! 

There is a Zero Tolerance policy for no call/show. Potential clients who book an appointment with no intentions on showing up will be blocked from the booking site immediately. Services will not be provided to said person for one year or more.

IMPORTANT: If your do not provide 24hr notification of you cancellation you will not be refunded a deposit and/ or you will owe 50% of the total cost of your services due to the late cancelation. If you No Call/No Show you will be charged a %75 cancellation fee (deposit will count toward this fee).

If for any reason you are going to be late to your appointment please give us a call as soon as possible. There is a 15min grace period built into each appointment. After that 15mins, the client will be considered late and it will be documented on file. The late fee is $1 per minute late. 

• You are responsible for a late fee at exactly 16mins after your appointment time. 
• If you are more than 45mins (15min grace + 30 add'tl mins)  late your appointment will be canceled and you will be responsible for 100% of the service before you can book another appointment.

Some times we can not control situations that may create an abrupt change in plans. In the event where an emergency hair appointment is needed there will be a respective fee assessed. Effective: August 15, 2022

The following circumstances qualify as an emergency appointment: 

• Same-day Requests = $30
• Squeeze-In Appointments = $55
• After Hours Scheduling = $30 and up

Same day requests are requests for an appointment with LESS than 20hrs notice.

Squeeze-in appointments are requests for a day that is already booked, but there may be enough time to squeeze the service in. These appointments often take away the stylist's lunch break and may even cause a time conflict in the schedule. 

After Hours scheduling would be any appointment with a start time within one hour and 30 minutes of closing time. For example, We close at 9pm and the appointment is scheduled for 7:30pm, which will more likely than not run past the business close time. 

Appointments booked on posted days off, typically Sunday and Monday, will be subjected to a fee that starts at $50 and up.  However, If you appointment does not run past the posted closing time, you will not be charged the extra fee. 

Additionally, If you have a same day request and squeeze-in fees can be applied to the same service. 

Because emergencies are rare, it is expected that all clientele will take proper precautions to ensure they are booking responsibly. Let us be good stewards of our time. 

Pre- Appointment Consultations are required for some services. Please book a consultation for every hair color service, if you are experiencing any type of hair loss, or if you are booking for a special occasion. The consultation fee will be credited towards your service. 

Children are welcomed as long as they can sit still for the majority of the service. We service ages 3-10 at a lower rate. Ask about any mommy-and-me promotions. Additional children may attend the appointment at the discretion of Crowned by Nature. If you have any questions in regards to bringing additional children to the appointment feel free to contact us with one the methods provided below.

Is the hair included? Hair is ONLY provided if stated in the description. Hair is provided with most specials and deals.

Do you travel? Traveling is only permitted in special circumstances. A Travel fee will be assessed at the time of booking. Please contact us if you have a special circumstance and you would like the stylist to come to you. 

How long does it take? Each service varies in the length of time it will take. Please refer to the booking information to get an approximation on how long your service will take.
